Millet Expedition Project: 2nd expedition night

 

special reception evening, 22 November 2008, “Espace Malraux” centre in the Carré Curial, Chambéry

 

Reach new performance levels, push back your own limits, achieve a dream ...

12 expeditions set off this year thanks to the Millet Expedition Project and all these partners. They will provide a preview of their pictures, stories and experiences... Videos, accounts, photo reports or radio linkups – any means can be used for sharing these adventures.

 

The best films will be awarded the Ushuaia TV Prize.

 

This event also comes under the theme of sustainable development, with follow-up on several initiatives.

 

Free entry – Seat to be reserved from the ticketing office - Limited number of places available.

 

There will be a chance to meet the expedition members after the reception, near the Carré Curial.

TOUR DU RUTOR extrême

The 14th edition of the Tour du Rutor extrême cup, a biennial international ski mountaineering competition, in couples, classic technique, will take place on April 3-4-5 2009 in Arvier and Valgrisenche. The competition is valid as final race of the 7th Trophée des Alpes (combined placement of the Pierra Menta-Arèche Beaufort and Tour du Rutor). The competition will take place in 3 laps, with a total difference in height of approx. 7.000 mt. There will be 3 different routes with a Freedride cup that is the novelty of the 2009 edition.
