The technical adviser has an ambassadorial role, because he specifies products when working with his clients. He must therefore have thorough knowledge of Millet's range structure and branding policy, and can visually showcase products using communications tools.
Mathieu Bouyoud
ACTIVITIES : sports climber, equipper of difficult routes, competitor, French junior team member.
BASE : Chambéry, France
I discovered climbing and icefalls in 2002, then spent a lot of time on cliffs such as La Balme de Yenne and St Léger du Ventoux. Whenever possible, I travel to Spain, which has lots of difficult routes (in Rodellar, Santa Linya, Terradets, etc.).
In February 2005, I caught the equipping bug: over 10 consecutive days I climbed 10 routes in the eighth degree and on a new site (Mt Peney, Savoie).

ACTIVITIES : climbing, bouldering, routes and ice, mountaineering.
BASE : Grenoble, France
You could call me a young Belgian-French climber. I'm a 20-year-old Belgian national but a year and a half ago decided to live in Grenoble, and I'm very happy with my choice. I've focused totally on climbing, but across the spectrum. Although I'm best known for competitions, I also enjoy all mountain sports. Whenever my competition training leaves me any free time, I head to the mountains to ski and climb falls or major routes. I started competing internationally when I was very young (routes, as a junior) but my main driver now is bouldering because it's creative and sociable. I've also found that I enjoy sharing my passion, and I've finished the training course for the state climbing-teacher diploma. This winter, to add some more variety to my competition schedule, I aim to compete in the Ice Climbing World Cup and follow in the footsteps of Daniel Du Lac, or at least try… In the mid term, I hope to enrol at ENSA, and I make the most of being close to Les Ecrins to go to the mountains regularly – my route log is getting longer!"
